Boots on the ground at Cancun Cantina

Line Dancing
One of the best parts of Cancun Cantina is the humongous inside dance floor for country line dancing. In front of the dance floor there is also a stage where bands will play, or teachers can go up there to teach. There is also an outdoor dance space where live bands perform. For the line dances, you are able to pick up the dances by watching everyone else do it. Everyone there was super friendly and helped me learn some easy dances such as the Copperhead Road and Power Jam. There is also a dance space outside where live bands typically perform. If you are not into country music or line dancing, I recommend the outdoor area because it has all types of music. They also have tents for the outdoor area so you can be outside year-round. Lastly, they have around 4 pool tables that cost $2 to use, and a free mechanical bull, so if you and your friends want to do something different, they have those options.

Cancun Cantina Weekly Schedule
Events
Cancun Cantina hosts new events constantly to keep customers engaged and excited for activities. They have reoccurring events such as Tuesday Dance Party, Ladies Night Wednesday, and Country Partner Dancing Friday. They keep these events updated on their website as well as social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and X. Special events are hosted for holidays as well as a recent Halloween event and an upcoming Thanksgiving one. They also host different games and prizes during events such as the upcoming Tug-of-War and Turkey Bowling games during the Thanksgiving Eve event. The ages to get into Cancun Cantina changes depending on the event and the day of the week. Anyone ages 18+ is allowed to attend the Tuesday Dance Party, but the Thanksgiving Eve party is 21+. To confirm the age allowance for each night or event, I would recommend calling to confirm whether that night is 18+ or 21+ before you go.

Inside bar where you can order food and drinks
Food and Drinks
Cancun Cantina has 3 different bars throughout the entire location. For the bars, anyone 21+ can order alcoholic beverages, but they have virgin drinks for those under 21 as well. At the bar, you can also order different types of food. They have their whole menu posted on their website. Although I wasn’t able to try anything myself at the time, I know people who thoroughly enjoyed the Southern Shrimp Basket and Fried Pickles. They have pescatarian and vegetarian options; customers just have to change or remove the protein when ordering.
